Clifton Porta Pros takes calls Monday through Friday. The fastest way to get a quote is to describe your project: how many people, how long you need the unit, and where it goes. Email works too. Response time is usually within a few hours during business hours. Weekend and after-hours calls go to voicemail; we return those the next business day.
If you have a job in Nutley (4.2 miles south) or Garfield (3.7 miles northeast), same team handles both. Same goes for Lodi (5.2 miles east), Montclair (5.7 miles southwest) and Bloomfield (5.9 miles south). Pickup and delivery across all five towns runs on the same schedule.
What to Have Ready
The quote process goes faster if you know a few details. Tell us how many workers or attendees will use the facilities. For construction sites, mention the project end date. For events, give us the date and expected headcount. Let us know where on your property the unit will sit, some sites need the unit closer to the building, some farther out.
Under OSHA 1926.51(c), a construction site with 20 workers or fewer needs 1 toilet facility; sites with 40 workers need 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal. Tell us your crew size and we'll suggest the right unit count. For sites where workers apply paints, coatings, herbicides or insecticides, OSHA 1926.51(f)(1) requires washing facilities, and handwashing stations meet that rule.
Mention any access challenges. A standard portable toilet sits about 44 by 48 inches on the ground and stands 92 inches tall, so tight corners or steep slopes matter. If you need wheelchair access, ask about ADA compliant units. For dumpster placement, confirm you have about 60 feet of straight clearance behind the truck for delivery.
Rental Duration and Setup
Tell us how long you need the rental. A single day, a weekend, a week, or monthly rentals all have different pricing. The sooner you book, the sooner we confirm the delivery date. Most rentals start with a delivery fee, then the daily, weekly or monthly rate.

How do I know if I need a permit for a portable toilet?
Placement in Clifton's public right of way needs confirming with the city. Call us with your address and we'll help you figure out whether a permit applies, but confirm with the city before placement.
Can I rent a portable toilet for just one day?
Yes. Daily rental rates apply. Weekend rates are higher than weekday rates, so mention the specific dates when you call.
What's the difference between a standard and deluxe unit?
A standard unit has a gravity-flush system and holding tank. A deluxe unit has a flushable toilet, smaller tank, and usually a hand sanitizer and mirror. Deluxe costs more but feels closer to a real bathroom.
Do you deliver to job sites outside Clifton?
Yes. Nutley, Garfield, Lodi, Montclair and Bloomfield all fall within our service area. Call with your address and we'll confirm delivery is available and quote the job.
How quickly can you deliver?
Same-day delivery is possible if you call before noon on a weekday. If you're further out or it's Friday afternoon, plan for next-day delivery. Emergency requests get priority if we have units in stock.
